Retreat

Join members of NACSAM for our first ever retreat titled, Justice and Hope: Living the Gospel Message. Retreat director, Aimee Shelide Mayer, Interim Executive Director of the Catholic Labor Network, will lead participants through an inspirational two and a half days that will leave participants feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and grounded in why we continually say 'yes' to doing the work of social action ministry.

**BONUS: An optional pre-event is scheduled for Monday, July 14. Additional fees will apply.

Participants will visit key sites in New York City, including a guided tour of the United Nations (where NACSAM has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)); St. Patrick's Cathedral, including the crypt where Venerable Pierre Toussaint's tomb is located, and finally, Mass and dinner with Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, Executive Director of Catholic Charities New York.  Participants should plan to arrive to the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday evening, and the fee covers two additional nights at the retreat house.
