Retreat

The NACSAM board is thrilled to announce that it will be offering its retreat and immersion summer experience (RISE) event for the second time this summer from June 29 - July 2, 2026 at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford, OH. This year's theme will examine the spirituality of racial justice with a particular emphasis on Thomas Merton. Merton, not only had his conversion experience in nearby Kentucky, but he also wrote extensively on this topic. Immersion experiences will include visits to the National Underground Railroad Museum, the Muhammed Ali Center, and a trip to one of the local Merton sites.
