The NACSAM board is thrilled to announce that registration is open for the second retreat and immersive summer experience (RISE) event scheduled to take place this summer from June 29 - July 2, 2026 at the Jesuit Spiritual Center in Milford, OH. This year's theme is Our Reckoning and Our Hope: Racial Justice and Reconciliation and will examine the spirituality of racial justice efforts with immersive experiences in Cincinnati and nearby Kentucky. From these experiences, participants will have an opportunity to pray, reflect, and develop a call to action that will inspire efforts in their respective agency, diocese, or parish.

Registration includes retreat fee, all materials, lodging (private bedroom, shared bathroom), most meals (two lunches will be offsite and on your own), entrance fees into the museums, and transportation to the museums.

6:00 PM - Evening Retreat Talk and Reflection in preparation for upcoming immersive experience

7:00 PM - Talk on Venerable Fr. Augustus Tolton by Most Rev. Joseph N. Perry, retired auxiliary, Archdiocese of Chicago at St. Andrew Church

9:00 PM - Personal Prayer/Reflections

Tuesday, June 30

7:00 AM - Breakfast

8:00 AM - Depart from Jesuit Spiritual Center at Milford

10:30 AM - Arrival at Thomas Merton Center at Bellarmine University

12:00 PM - Mass followed by conversation with Most Rev. Shelton J. Fabre, Archbishop, Archdiocese of Louisville

1:30 PM - Lunch at the Merton Center

2:30 PM - Departure from the Merton Center

4:30 PM - Departure from Louisville

6:30 PM - Arrive back to the Jesuit Spiritual Center

6:45 PM - Dinner

7:45 PM - Prayerful processing/unpacking of the day

8:45 PM - Conclusion of the day

Wednesday, July 1
